The Austrian architectural studio Hammerer, in Ludescherberg, near Casa Wucher has designed a detached residential unit made entirely of wood with knitted outer walls

The gable-shaped house is surrounded by a breathtaking landscape in the Austrian mountains. In order to provide sufficient daylight to the gable area, five windows were installed in the roof

Thanks to the use of a wood-burning stove, the house is energy self-sufficient. Heat is released into the room through clay plaster walls. Water collectors have been installed on the roof to support heat production
