The Beach House Chihuahua, Uruguay: a system of pillars, beams and reinforced concrete slabs, rising 10 meters  above sea level to achieve the best views of the ocean

Studio Colle-Croce's Beach House Chihuahua consists of two compact volumes: the main house is the largest volume, with a large living room, a dining room and a kitchen that expands onto the cantilevered veranda with views of the ocean, offering sweeping views of Punta Ballena and the sunset over Piriápolis

The second, smaller volume is the guest pavilion, and has a living room, terrace, two bedrooms and bathrooms. The material expression uniting the two volumes is in harmony with the vernacular constructions of the place. The shell consists of a steel frame covered with lapacho boards on the outside and white painted pine on the inside
