Wooden structure between the trees
Wooden structure between the trees
Structure for the collection of recyclable materials. An interplay of wooden beams for extreme lightness

Hammerer Studio designed a structure for the collection of recyclable building materials and decided to re-organise all the functions under the same roof, hence the design of the project which is nothing more than a big wooden shed

The structural idea uses 8 large wooden supports from which 15 wooden beams are articulated to calmly trace the flow of forces. The interplay of laminated beams, unfinished tree trunks and metal fittings is evidence of the successful collaboration between architects, engineers and the client

As for the closed space for the building authorities, the floor, ceiling and interior walls are made of OSB panels, which create a great contrast with the white doors and furniture
