Aberrant Architecture is a multiple award-winning collaborative studio of designers, makers and thinkers whose projects introduce new and unexpected ways of experiencing everyday life. Aberrant design interactive architecture, interiors, public art, exhibitions & installations, building close relationships with the communities in which they operate.

Aberrant’s participatory form of practice places the needs of people at the centre of the situations they address and the opportunities they create. Combining storytelling and research, Aberrant takes a playful approach to producing spatial experiences that are both meaningful and beautiful

Aberrant has exhibited work at international architecture and design events such as the Shanghai Urban Space Art Season in 2017 as well as the Venice Biennale of Architecture, Gwangju Design Biennale, Sao Paulo Biennial and the Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale.
Chambers and Haley were the inaugural guests of honour at the Toronto Design Offsite (TO DO) Festival (Toronto, CA, 2018), where an exhibition featured the work of Aberrant Architecture alongside selected young Canadian practices (Toronto, CA, 2018)

In 2011, the practice co-founded the Gopher Hole, in east London, with curator Beatrice Galilee. Their work has been collected by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Art in Rio de Janeiro.
Aberrant Architecture was founded by David Chambers and Kevin Haley in 2010
