A building that is divided into small vacation accommodations: The Alpine Sky Apartments is located in a small alpine village, Kranjska Gora and has a very specific task, which is to respect the strict urban regulations that govern the dimensions of buildings and to be equipped with a sloping roof

The famous ski resort is home to a new building, which is being arranged into small vacation accommodations and apartments that can be combined into larger units. At the request of the client, OFIS is trying to create as much saleable space as possible while respecting the town planning regulations

The ground floor is used for a local pharmacy, while each floor has three apartments, each connected by a small, bright staircase. Despite their small size, they have large windows and a small balcony or a glazed bay window in the corner of the building. Local tradition inspires the decorative motifs and materials of the facade

The roof is made of fiber-cement boards/tiles and the pattern that is used is a diagonal rhomboid. The pattern on the roof continues on the facades up to the ground floor, where the elevation is made of natural stone. The frames of windows and balconies are made of larch wood, the upper part of the roof is made of perforated metal and behind it are the chimneys and ventilation systems, which are cleverly hidden
