LECA CLS 1400

Structural Lightweight Premixed Concrete, ideal for reinforcement casts and composite slabs. With an in-place weight of 1400 kg/m³, it offers a significant reduction compared to traditional concretes of 2400 kg/m³, while maintaining comparable mechanical strengths (25 MPa).

Main Features

Lightweight: Weight of 1400 kg/m³, ideal for wooden floors with a load reduction of over 40%.
Regulatory Compliance: compliant with Technical Standards for Construction (D.M. 17/01/2018).
Strength: compression strength of 25 MPa (250 kg/cm²).
Non-combustible: fire resistance class Euroclass A1.
Pumpable: can be used with traditional pneumatic pumps for subfloors.
Practicality: supplied in manageable bags, only requires the addition of water for mixing.

Applications

Reinforcement Casts: Ideal for structural reinforcements of wooden and lightweight concrete floors, with load capacity increases of up to 100% when combined with the Chemical Connector certified by the Polytechnic University of Milan.
Composite Slabs: Suitable for creating slabs on existing structures, improving load-bearing capacity without excessive weight.
Surface Preparation
Clean the surface from dust and residues.
Provide suitable reinforcements and spacers for the reinforced concrete cast.

Application and Finishing

Absorbent Surface: Apply CentroStorico Latex and let it dry before casting.
Casting and Compaction: Lay and compact like traditional concrete, avoiding the rise of Lecapiù granules.
Leveling: Level precisely to achieve an exact elevation.
