MX-CP Lime: pre-mixed structural mortar M15 based on natural hydraulic lime NHL 3.5

MX-CP Lime represents an advanced solution for structural restoration of masonry, formulated with pure natural hydraulic lime NHL 3.5. This pre-mixed mortar is breathable and compatible with a wide range of masonry substrates, suitable for use on renders reinforced with fiberglass mesh, basalt or steel. Its formulation, once mixed with water, produces an extremely adhesive mortar, ideal for application on masonry, tuff, and stonework, ensuring durability and strength for repairs and structural renders. Packaged in ready-to-use bags, just add water to obtain a mix that can be applied both manually and with a traditional plastering machine (such as PFT G4).

The porosity of the finished product ensures adequate water vapor permeability, while its high resistance to weathering makes it ideal for a wide variety of applications. It is particularly recommended in combination with the following meshes:

Application

Restoration of Degraded Masonry

The fiberglass, basalt, or steel meshes are used to reinforce the masonry walls, while the preparation layer of the masonry (composed of bricks, tuff, or stonework) is essential for the application of structural reinforcements with composite materials. The masonry reconstruction technique known as "stitching" and the consolidation of existing masonry through re-pointing are also possible with the use of MX-CP Lime.
