Quotazero
Quotazero is the wet ground screed for finishing layers and low-thickness slopes 3-60 mm for exteriors and interiors.
Quotazero is the finishing screed for low-thickness interior and exterior installations from 3 to 60 mm suitable for direct installation of glued floors (even moisture-sensitive) and waterproofing layers (both prefabricated membranes and liquid).
Quotazero is a premixed bagged product consisting of selected aggregates, specific binders, and additives, with an in-situ density of approximately 2,100 kg/m3, controlled shrinkage < 450 µm/m for surfaces up to 50 m2 without joints and reinforcement meshes to the benefit of higher quality and safety of the flooring. It is suitable for laying any type of flooring, both moisture-sensitive (such as parquet, rubber, PVC, linoleum, resilient, etc.) and non-moisture-sensitive (such as ceramics, even large format, and similar), starting from 1 day at a minimum thickness of 1 cm (for other thicknesses and drying times, see technical data sheet).
Quotazero is resistant to compression (25 N/mm²) and flexion (6 N/mm²).
The installation is easy and safe using traditional construction equipment such as mixers, planetary mixers, continuous auger mixers, pneumatic pumps for subfloors. The screed has a wet ground consistency and a certified thermal conductivity of λ 1.48 W/mK, making it suitable for applications with underfloor heating systems.
Advantages
- Low thickness
- Quotazero is suitable for low-thickness screeds, 3-60 mm, even on radiant piping and without reinforcement meshes, for all applications and types of coverings.
- Practical and safe
- The bagged packaging allows obtaining a product with consistent performance in all conditions, shorter processing times compared to traditional sand/cement with normal application methods. Furthermore, the flooring can be directly glued to the surface once the subfloor is dry.
- Resistant
- The remarkable mechanical characteristics (25 N/mm² compression) allow the installation of any type of surface finish. DRYApplied in a thickness of 3 cm, after 24 hours it reaches residual moisture values suitable for laying a non-moisture-sensitive ceramic flooring, and after 6 days it reaches residual moisture values <2%, ideal for laying moisture-sensitive floorings, such as parquet.
- Non-combustible
- Totally mineral-based, therefore with Euroclass A1fl fire reaction
Applications
- Screed for modifying slopes or leveling in thin layers on existing floors.
- Screed for leveling/restoring the flatness of concrete/existing screed surfaces.
- Screed for modifying slopes of flat roofs, terraces, and balconies before waterproofing treatment or tile installation.
- Screed for applying thin layers to level the bottom of pools/tanks to make them suitable for waterproofing installation.
- Screed for restoring steps, leveling or correcting the levels and slope lines of cementitious screeds or ceramic floorings.
- Screeds in general for interiors and exteriors, even low thickness from 3 mm to 60 mm.
- Screeds for laying moisture-sensitive floorings (parquet, PVC, linoleum, rubber, etc.) and non-sensitive (ceramic, etc.).
- Screeds in interiors on underfloor heating and cooling systems.
- Screeds for milled radiant systems.
