Thin lines and a natural moodboard for the Bloom 33 Botanic Bar

The Bloom 33 Botanic Bar occupies the ground floor of a 19th-century building, located on the main street of the historic center of Crema. Previously home to a clothing store, the space has been transformed using aged wood, oxidized iron, and original bricks.

Nature and conviviality at Bloom 33 Botanic Bar

The project of Bloom 33 Botanic Bar, designed by architect Davide Beretta, is inspired by the client's philosophy: to offer a multisensory experience that combines the pleasure of conviviality with respect for nature. Nature, in line with the name of the venue, is an integral part of the interior setting. In interior design projects like this, environmental awareness translates into concrete choices: the elimination of plastic products and containers and the use of natural materials for furnishings, such as aged fir wood and oxidized iron, enhance both sustainability and aesthetics.

Harmony between raw materials and nature

On the wall opposite the bar counter, a geometric pattern made of metal profiles develops, supporting an elegant system of shelves and wooden containers. From the latter emerge a variety of floral essences, bringing a touch of nature and color to the environment, creating a refined contrast between the metal structure and the plant elements. The wall behind the bar counter has been treated with great care: it has indeed been stripped bare, removing the various layers of plaster that had covered it over time. This intervention has brought to light the original masonry pattern, composed of solid bricks, which gives an authentic and rustic character to the space, enhancing the history and materiality of the space. These details show how the interior design project manages to combine industrial, natural, and historical elements in balance, creating a unique and engaging atmosphere.

The color palette and the natural atmosphere

The color palette chosen for Bloom33 by architect Beretta ranges from yellow tones of wood to various shades of brown of exposed bricks and oxidized iron, ending with the milky white of the walls, a harmonious mix of warm colors. The abundant presence of natural light, the warm colors, and the presence of green all contribute to creating an atmosphere of tranquility and harmony, accentuated by the soft light coming from the white ceramic lamps suspended on the tables, created for this project by artist Stefano Ogliari Badessi. A window at the back of the room opens onto the wall of jasmine that covers the courtyard of the historic building, creating a sort of natural continuity between interior and exterior.
