Hello Restaurant By Night, golden reflections on the Amalfi coast

An intimate and artisanal environment that transforms a former take-away into an elegant evening experience, where wood paneling, mirrors, and Mediterranean materials interact with a Moroccan-inspired concept with a strong identity.

An identity born from continuity

Ciao Restaurant By Night is born from the desire of the clients to expand the activity of the take-away Ciao Pasta e Caffè, creating a space dedicated to dinner. Despite being two different functions, the project by FP Architecture and Design seeks a continuous thread, capable of maintaining the brand's identity recognizable. Access to the room - a space of small dimensions, 6.64 x 3.35 meters - is through an external entrance compared to the bar. A compact hallway introduces to the room and services, defining a functional rhythm that prepares for the transformation of atmosphere between day and night.

A concept that repeats like a pattern

The concept, already defined in the initial phase, repeats as an ornamental motif that envelops the entire space: on the paneling, on the doors, in the furnishings. Moroccan inspiration is declared by the raised geometries, the gilded frames, the mirrors that multiply perspectives and visual fragments. The white wooden tables, with visible grain, are handcrafted by master carpenters and contribute to a warm and textural environment. The surfaces reflect and interact with each other, creating a room that thrives on visual references and light.

A microcosm of reflections and craftsmanship

At the top, a large beech wood paneled unit runs across the room, incorporating the ventilation pipe and turning it into an integral part of the setup. Along the side walls, there are interweaving patterns of golden frames forming rhombuses and smaller mirrors, while the opposite wall features round mirrors that expand the space. The contoured bench against the vault welcomes a convivial table, creating an elegant and functional focal point. The result is an immersive space that evokes the most interesting hospitality-focused interior design projects, where light, material, and detail guide the experience.

Mediterranean Tradition and Contemporary Innovation

The large armored door with golden inserts anticipates the internal atmosphere to the public, playing with transparencies, movement, and reflections. Outside, white dominates and the curtains filter the light without obstructing the view of Amalfi. The floating stone-effect flooring brings the character of Mediterranean tradition into the project, in dialogue with contemporary choices that make the space compact, elegant, and unique. The green, yellow, and white of the concept intensify, creating a precious and welcoming environment, designed to enhance the evening dimension of the restaurant.
