Light and space in motion: the new face of CIE CREA offices

A project that redefines the concept of workspace: CIE CREA finds new life in environments where functionality, design, and natural light come together, in an architecture that enhances the work and identity of each team.

A renewed identity for the operational spaces of CIE CREA

The project, designed by the USOarquitectura studio, was created to give new shape to the spaces of CREA, the area of CIE dedicated to logistics and event organization. Previously located in an industrial warehouse, the headquarters no longer met the growth needs, nor did it offer an image consistent with the quality of the interior design projects that the company itself contributed to realizing. The new headquarters, spanning over 4,670 m², clearly separates the area of technical laboratories from that of offices, creating a modern and functional hub where each space is designed to facilitate operations and enhance user experience. Efficiency, functionality, and representativeness were the guiding principles of the intervention.

A central ring that connects and enhances teams

The key design element is a large central circulation, a ring that connects the two service cores made up of stairs and elevators, organizing the space around itself. In this ring, the different operational areas are articulated, distributed in "neighborhoods" or work quarters, each with its own visual identity. The meeting areas, positioned towards the interior of the structure, never touch the perimeter, which remains completely open to natural light. This strategy allows for the creation of a second ring of informal and collaborative spaces, with coworking areas, small lounges, and meeting points ideal for stimulating interaction among teams.

Essential design, strategic colors, and industrial atmosphere

The choice of a minimal color palette has allowed to characterize each area with a distinctive touch, without losing the overall unity of the space. The use of vinyl floors and colored carpets marks the different areas, while the exposed ceilings and raw materials deliberately evoke an industrial aesthetic. At the center of the project are the common spaces: training rooms, meeting rooms, cafeteria, and service areas. A well-calibrated balance between technical rigor and daily comfort, for an environment that fully reflects the operational and creative nature of CIE CREA.
