The interior design by Goko Studio articulates the entire space on the lower floor as a large room with the function of living room and office, directly connected to the kitchen; this room can, if necessary, become a guest room with two simple movements of the custom-designed furniture
Penthouse between terraces and domes. Interior project in search of the perfect harmony between the soul of the place and those who inhabit it
A space of only 50 square meters but almost entirely surrounded by terraces that are articulated on two levels and offer a scenic view of the domes of the old city of Barcelona: a penthouse between terraces and domes
On the upper floor, a bedroom with suite "pretensions" overlooks a terrace with optimal orientation and surrounded by plants. On both floors, thanks to the two large terraces, one can enjoy the good climate of Barcelona, expanding the perception of the relatively small interior space. Up here the hectic pace of the city full of clubs and tourists is not perceived, and the cross-ventilation brings an unusual comfort to the center of Barcelona
The design of the penthouse is based on the architects' constant quest to achieve a perfect harmony between the soul of the place and its inhabitants; with this view, the space becomes a blank canvas where some walls remain bare, while other details recall the building's age and the various functions it has gone through
The moodboard of the project is complemented by grays that sometimes turn to blue and touches of natural wood that give warm flashes of light
