Redesigning Space: A New Internal Organization
The restyling project of House CD by Didonè Comacchio Architects stems from the desire to transform a residential building from the 1960s-70s into a contemporary space, capable of meeting the needs of modern living. The intervention goes beyond simple renovation, shaping up as a true recalibration of the internal spaces, where every design choice aims to enhance the quality of daily life. A key aspect was the new study of flows, which led to the modification of the staircase connecting the upper floors. This intervention allowed for the freeing up of the raised floor, transforming it into a spacious open space designated for the living area, fluid and welcoming.
