nhow Berlin. Music and design at the center of the scene

A bar redesigned by Karim Rashid transforms the lobby of the nhow Hotel in Berlin into an iconic space, where aesthetics and functionality blend to offer a unique sensory experience, combining music, art, and conviviality.

An immersive experience between music and design

The restyling of the bar and lobby of nhow Berlin, designed by Karim Rashid, reflects a philosophy that combines aesthetics and functionality in a holistic approach. The environment becomes dynamic, transforming from a daily relaxation space to a stage for special events. The design is intended to stimulate the senses and guide the guest through a fluid and engaging journey, where music remains the absolute protagonist.

A bar that becomes a cultural hub

The project introduces a flexible space, with a modular stage and reconfigurable seating, transforming the bar into a cultural and social hub. No longer just a place to have a cocktail, but a vibrant environment enriched by concerts and music nights that celebrate the rock soul of the nhow. In this setting, interior design projects take on the role of narrative tools capable of strengthening the place's identity and making it memorable.

Iconic Details and Contemporary Functionality

The new configuration features 120 indoor seats and an equal number outdoors, with the blobular bar in cyan color and the backlit display of bottles that become iconic elements. Every detail is designed to enhance functionality, both for guests and staff. The social table adds an intimate and panoramic touch with a view of the Oberbaum Bridge, creating an oasis of tranquility in the heart of a vibrant environment.

Materials and multisensory atmospheres

The redesign integrates tactile materials such as custom tiles, wall coverings, and acoustic panels, enveloping guests in a multisensory experience. The combination of form and function expresses Rashid's desire to transform music into matter, giving life to a visual language that captures and amplifies emotions. A project that confirms how interior design can influence our way of moving, interacting, and living in spaces.
