Connection between past and present

The Parque lineal de La Valenciana, designed by 501 Durán Arquitectos, represents a new approach to urban architecture, capable of combining historical memory and innovation. The project reuses the ancient rural path, transforming it into an access avenue that pays homage to the historic Guanajuato mine, dating back to the 16th century. Bougainvillea and lavender outline the pedestrian path, while the concept of the "serpent" evokes pre-Hispanic symbolism, giving life to a landscape sculpture that, with studied colors and shapes.

Spaces designed for outdoor living

Among the main amenities stands out the Huerto Frutal, an oasis of peace where the only built element is the area dedicated to the practice of yoga. The landscape is shaped with penniseti, plumbago, and rosemary, surrounding the cherry trees enhanced by piñon stone. The project aims for low water consumption maintenance, proposing a space that enhances the connection with nature. Every element has been curated to offer a total wellness experience, respectful of the environment and the natural rhythm of life.

Soft Mobility and Social Spaces

The beating heart of the Parque lineal de La Valenciana is its pedestrian mobility system. By reclaiming areas originally designated for parking, the project has given life to a network composed of 23 public spaces and 3 kilometers of pedestrian paths. The elongated squares, fixed benches, and urban furniture encourage encounters and sharing, making these places vibrant and accessible. The intervention is a virtuous example of outdoor space design, where sustainable mobility and collective well-being become priorities.
