The future is "biobased," and more than 75,000 people were able to see it in The Growing Pavilion during Dutch Design Week 2019
That is Biobased Creation why Company New Heroes together with the Dutch Design Foundation and other pioneers in the field conducted the visionary experiment of The Growing Pavilion, a structure made entirely of organic materials
"Through this project we show the possibilities and above all the extraordinary beauty of biobased construction and design," says designer Pascal Leboucq of Company New Heroes. The uniqueness of the pavilion lies in the large number of organic materials used, such as wood, hemp, cotton, and others that are put together to form a building like never seen before
Since the first realization of The Growing Pavilion for Dutch Design Week 2019, a dialogue has begun between the creators and various enthusiastic companies and organizations to find new opportunities to rebuild it in other places so as to continue to inspire more and more people toward bio based construction and a circular economy
