Modernist Villa in Holland. Large openings and stone cladding for a Luxury Design

The Dutch studio Grosfeld van der Velde Architects has designed this building based on their belief in the great value of architecture, both in the theme of sustainability and theme of aesthetics, in order to respect and raise awareness in the environment

The luxury villa, located in a modern neighbourhood built in the Dutch architectural style replicating the 1930s is situated in a special position on the edge of the "Vlindervallei" district in Oosterhout. There is a contrast in character between privacy and large openings, sobriety and nonconformity

The layout of the house is in the shape of an "L" while ensuring the privacy of the customer and blocking out traffic noise. The minimalist and modern structure is characterized by its facades. The studio used the Abitasistema system in partnership with Strikolith, which ensures that the Geopietra cladding can be laid on external thermal insulation

The Toce model stones strengthen the linear pattern of the project. The natural texture of the wall is made more detailed by the use of a significant grout of geoBi mortar made from two types of grain in different colours. The white plastered volumes underline the stone wall in a pleasant contrasting interplay. A large window opens onto the garden while the stone leads into the kitchen and living room creating a connection between inside and outside
