The Atelier Pierre-Louis Gerlier , in charge of the renovation project, worked on improving the aesthetics of the clients' new home, both inside and out

The ground floor of the building has been radically transformed with an ad hoc design to bring in more warmth and to open up to the outside. The south wall, originally made of concrete, is deconstructed by opening it up completely and the metal posts, which become the new supporting structure, are covered with oak formwork

Inside, the oakwood was used to cover the walls, for instance in the living room on the wall with the stone fireplace, but also on the kitchen cupboards
