Villa in Abu Dhabi. Minimal and iconic design in a luxurious style

The villa, designed by the UPA studio is located on a lot between a fast-flowing road and a narrow stretch of sea. The northern entrance front on the road side has been designed with a semi-solid finish to maintain privacy. The horizontality of the front has been balanced by the volume of the stairs with a truncated cone shape

In contrast, the south façade overlooking the water is characterised by large transparent windows and long balconies. In this façade, horizontality and dynamism have been deliberately accentuated. The orientation of the floor plan has been deliberately inclined with respect to the course of the rectangular lot to favour the view of the main canal. The floor plan is rectangular and linear, starting from the long corridor with the stairs and lift in a central position

The villa has three floors above ground and a basement floor for utilities. The ground floor, which opens onto the garden and swimming pool is used for conviviality and for receiving guests. At the entrance there is a double-height atrium that divides the dining room from the Majilis (the room for formal receptions).  The first floor is dedicated to family life, while the second floor has a gym for fitness and a Majilis dedicated to women in a modern Moroccan style

The entire villa has been designed with essential forms and refined materials in the name of minimalist yet comfortable modern luxury. The villa and its main spaces have been designed following the module of 1.5m, so as to have flooring with elements measuring 1.5m by 1.5m without cuts and interruptions

The walls of the ground floor have been clad with modern wood paneling with an exclusive strip pattern. This luxury villa with its high-quality interior design uses state-of-the-art technical systems such as domotics, integrated with a high-performance automation system
