Provencher_Roy completes the architectural renovation of the Torre Montréal and the interior design of the new interior spaces dedicated to the online services of the Desjardins Movement, creating welcoming and bright working spaces in which work becomes enjoyable

In order to better comply with the new corporate vocation, the Torre Montréal was renovated by Provencher_Roy, who also took care of the interior design of the new spaces dedicated to the online services of the Desjardins Movement

Originally designed to house sports associations, the tower needs to be adapted to be used by a large number of workers. Provencher_Roy replaces the prefabricated concrete shell with a curtain wall for greater transparency and windows, thus increasing the presence of natural light inside while maintaining the original architecture

The objective is to create a working environment that fosters interaction and creativity. The spectacular space offered on the seven floors of this iconic work of Québec architecture is enhanced by a design adapted to the organic dimensions of the Olympic Stadium, in order to offer employees a stimulating and collaborative working environment. The Olympic spirit will remain omnipresent thanks to a selection of historical references to the primary vocation of the stadium

The imposing concrete structure remains visible and is accentuated by the neutral tones of the walls and ceilings. The areas near the windows remain free to allow the creation of an architectural promenade along which employees can enjoy a spectacular view of the stadium and the city. Collaboration and relaxation areas are also integrated along the impressive windows

Entrance to offices

The space itself will be a work tool, with offices equipped with the latest technological equipment to entice and meet the needs of employees aged between 25 and 35 years. There will be spaces for relaxation and entertainment, coffee corners and multifunctional rooms designed for a young and active clientele. The spacious and bright rooms are covered with light grey or marbled floors. The poppy-shaped ceiling detail of the waiting area evokes the orange hue of the original retractable roof seen from the inside
