The building is located in the Anjos district of Lisbon. Before being renovated, it was in a state of complete ruin and only 3 of its ten apartments were inhabited. The intervention initially deals with reinforcing the building from a structural point of view

A Portuguese building dating back to the 20th century is undergoing rehabilitation by the architects of rar.studio who, in addition to structural reinforcement are committed to improving the energy performance and comfort of the apartments
The main façade and stairwell are renovated, while the roof is completely rebuilt. An elevator was installed at the back of the building and the metal structure of the balconies was expanded
All apartments undergo the same spatial alterations, although they are customized according to the wishes of the new owners. The renovation works are recognizable especially with regard to decorative elements
