The inspiration for the design of a cabin on a ship was evoked by the surface of the water nearby and the design of the interior, in which every inch of space is utilized. The contrast with the exterior is equally striking: while the exterior appears modest and functional, the interior is modern, spacious and meticulously designed

"Our aim was to design a building that would humbly integrate into the green slope above the water with mostly modest old cottages," says Klára Vratislavová. "The construction of the house went hand in hand with the interior design, so that we could make the most of every inch of space that the original grandfather's house had given us."
