Prefabricated modular houses. Custom-made wood and steel project

The project, by the delaVegaCanolasso studio, located in Toledo, Spain, consists of two volumes: the first, a house of simple and elegant architecture as a result of a renovation and the second, a custom prefabricated steel module

"Two Pieces," as the project is called, marks the beginning of the "tiny home" project, prefabricated modular homes that are manufactured in Spain and then transported wherever you want

The project was completely custom-made and consists of a piece of sheet steel that complements the existing volume. The first piece consists of a simple and elegant house that has been renovated and equipped with a solar-controlled curtain wall and a self-adjusting louvred facade. In addition, the inclusion of deciduous trees will protect the house from the summer sun and allow it to filter through in the winter periods

However, the second piece is a prefabricated corten steel module that is also custom designed. Thanks to a filter, at sunset the sun is shaded, generating an antechamber to the house. Both pieces are opaque and mysterious and the other large and exposed
