After graduating in Architecture from the IUAV University (Venice) and completing a Master's in Interior Design at the Politecnico di Milano, Tobia Zambotti moved to Shanghai to work with Alberto Caiola's studio, an award-winning company specializing in interiors.

In early 2019, Tobia decided to leave the Chinese city for a different lifestyle and relocated to Reykjavik, where he founded Atelier Tobia Zambotti, a multidisciplinary design studio with a focus on cutting-edge interiors. The studio's goal is to tell meaningful stories through sustainable and bold projects.
Tobia collaborates with an international group of young and talented collaborators, including craftsmen, carpenters, engineers, architects, and photographers. Some of his recent works include the Perlan Ice cream parlour - an immersive abstract ice cave located in Iceland's largest museum, and The Fan Chair - a collection of chairs that breathe new life into discarded stadium seats.
