GBa Studio

GBa_studio, founded by Gianluca Brini, operates in the broad area of urbanistic and architectural projects, engaged in multidisciplinary and multilevel research and design, down to the executive detail and site management, aiming at the realization of the work.

The project is understood as an intellectual practice (not disciplinary), investigated also in a theoretical context, but guided by a practical ethical approach. Research informs practice, which in turn feeds research, in the continuum of the studio's activity. Without ever giving up its specific mandate and responsibility towards the project (which remains a strong and individual intellectual act) and the Client, towards society and the world, the studio firmly supports a practice of thought that guides technical action, believing in designing and building things/houses as SPACES/TIMES OF LIFE.

GBa_studio quickly gains recognition and has long been consistently featured in national and international qualified publications. Its established structure and network make it qualified and recognized in the development of particularly complex projects, through integrated and coordinated assignments. The studio, although by choice positioned outside the major media flows, is a stable and concrete reality that persists in practicing design and its theory with passion and determination, backed by an extraordinary number of plans, projects, and realizations, particularly in Bologna and the Region.

As it looks towards the future, the studio engages with ever-innovative themes, such as co-housing and eco-industry, the excellence of new private healthcare and advanced tertiary services, sustainable urban planning and environmental architecture design, for new generations of clients seeking concrete and intellectually advanced results.
