MIRO architects is an architecture and design studio founded in Bologna in 2009 by Valentina Cicognani, Giacomo Minelli, and Riccardo Pedrazzoli. The name reflects fundamental words and gestures in the partners' approach to the project: looking, wonder, aiming for the goal.
Operating in Italy, China, and the Middle East, MIRO architects deals with design at different scales, managing all phases of the process, from analysis to realization, with the constant commitment to ensure in the final result the same quality and poetry promised since the first sketch.
MIRO has carried out numerous interior design projects, installations, and setups; has participated in architecture and design competitions, and collaborated with Italian and foreign universities. The three partners are engaged in research and public debate on the architecture of our time.

Zigo-Zago, tribute to Enzo Zacchiroli

On the tenth floor of the residential complex Le Torri designed by Enzo Zacchiroli, who with his architectures said to always go "in search of the well-being and happiness of the Little Man", an apartment is equipped with the container volume Zigo-Zago to create, through the new design, a direct connection with the original structure

Just a few steps from Bologna's Two Towers, on Strada Maggiore, an apartment of more than 120 square meters spread over two floors becomes the penthouse with the city inside, thanks to the meticulous renovation that transforms the panorama into a scenography for its interiors
