Belonging to the family of Goudvisch bars spread throughout the city, the Leo designed by Studio Modijefsky is the latest one created in the lively Beukenplein area. The bar's style, with a palette ranging from purples to grays, is inspired by the architecture of the building that houses it. In the interior design projects of the Dutch studio, the search for innovation is an important focus: here, among traditional materials, the Korean textile technique of Pojagi is introduced for the curtains that bring in the recurring theme of purple throughout the bar. The counter is an imposing elevated sculpture, composed of white and burgundy marble, aged brass, dark oak wood, and black and white terrazzo.
