Built on the lot where the "Casa Bravo Reyes" stood, where costumes and curtains for theatrical plays in Mexico City were produced, which fell into ruin at the beginning of the 21st century, the CD4 building contributes to the revitalization of Callejón de Dolores by offering new housing and a renewed and permeable aesthetic

New homes and commercial activities strengthen the perception of safety and renewal

With its architectural projects, Boué Arquitectos studio is supporting the government's intention to regenerate the Barrio Chino area: first with the CD8 building on the same street, and now with the CD4. The latter is located in a privileged position near the Alameda Central and the Palace of Fine Arts, and it houses new homes and commercial activities that strengthen the perception of safety and renewal among passersby on the street

A landmark for artists and the neighborhood

On the ground floor of CD4 there is an art gallery and a neighborhood bar, while on the 4 upper floors there are 12 mini-apartments, served by a common room, gym, and rooftop terrace with a spectacular view of the city and the Torre Latinoamericana. The project's goal is to become a landmark for artists, promoting cultural activities such as exhibitions and book presentations, involving the entire neighborhood

Sober and permeable aesthetics to harmonize with the context

The CD4 building adopts a sober facade that allows views to penetrate, with balconies and courtyards providing access to public spaces. It harmonizes with the context through its height and from the ground floor, revealing traces of the pre-existing building. The apartments are organized with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom, distributed in 3 units per floor, ensuring light and natural ventilation for each
