From an old mountain chalet in northern Italy comes Casa Giaglione, which, equipped with autonomous housing units, proposes a new use of common spaces for leisure and smart working, rethought to give life to shared premises that can be aggregated with each other through co-housing modalities. Architect Visconti, founder of Studio MV and considered among the architects who are redesigning the Piedmontese and Italian landscape, with Casa Giaglione has reinterpreted the historic chalet while proposing a novel design of the common spaces. These are designed for a use that perfectly integrates leisure, service and work rooms: from the cinema room to the gymnasium, from the ski depot to the area for receiving postal packages
The project, whose construction work was completed in July 2019, precisely because of its innovative features, will be presented at the exhibition dedicated to mountain architecture scheduled this fall in Turin, at the Mountain Museum
