Visual and sound harmonies for Eduardo Diaz's Studio

In response to the needs of guitarist Eduardo Díaz, his family, and his art, a music studio immersed in nature is born. A project that interprets music as a way of life, translated into architectural volumes that play with sleek steel, stone, and wood, creating a changing and evocative scenography. The garden envelops the space, giving depth to the materials and stimulating daily activities, from musical composition to moments of family intimacy.

Sound-enhancing shapes

The morphology of the building is guided by the search for optimal reverberation, with angles designed to enhance sound performance. This formal approach gives rise to a distinctive aesthetic that defines the spaces, connecting interior and exterior. The direct relationship with the landscape creates ideal backdrops for audiovisual production, an integral part of the musician's artistic work.
In this balance between function and inspiration, the project curated by 501 Duran Arquitectos becomes a visual narrative of the symbiosis between private life and creativity.

Paths between nature and architecture

The 507 m² plot borders the family residence and hosts an organic set of functions: music studio, social spaces and fluid connections between interior and exterior. Starting from the point of contact with the house, a zoning is developed, marked by porticoes that guide flows and improve thermal comfort. It is in this articulation that the architecture projects are inserted, designed to enhance interaction with nature: pathways among plant species, green squares, and changing views that accompany every movement.

Sounds, play, and contemplation

The room connecting the house to the new volume is designed for family living, with direct access to the garden, stimulating the sensory development of the little ones. The music studio becomes an acoustically calibrated environment, where every surface contributes to the sound quality. A light steel terrace with a pitched roof welcomes moments of relaxation, amidst musical tunes and nature. The surrounding garden envelops every space, creating a visual and perceptual continuity that amplifies the relationship between man and landscape.
