The important project is the twenty-five metre long swimming pool, which seems to be suspended between the sky and the earth. At a height of twelve meters above the ground, the structure protrudes into the void, supported by four metal struts covered with wood
The swimmer has the impression of floating, a feeling intensified by the bottom that for a small part becomes transparent
The debarked larch rods become a theme for the elevation. A succession of larch trunks is, in fact, used to outline the facade of the new building containing the rooms and re-proposed on the facade of the existing building with which the addition is in perfect continuity
In order to recreate a coherent image of the elevation, the architects also worked on the details. The existing balustrades were replaced by powder-coated metal balustrades to match the new ones
For the entire facade, which includes the grafting and pre-existence, the choice fell on the warm grey-brown colour tone. These are the colours found in the forest and the surrounding nature
