Nendo is the Studio created by the architect and designer Sato Oki, born in Toronto because of his father's work, the family had to move. He studied at Tokyo Gakugei Oizumi Junior High School and at Waseda University Senior High School, later graduated from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering at Waseda University, as the best student in 2000. In 2002, shortly after completing his academic course at the architecture department founded the "nendo" design office. His wide range of works includes product design, interior design, architecture, graphics and the corporate brand. In 2012, he became the youngest winning designer in the British magazine "Wallpaper" and "Elle Deco International Design Award". In 2015, he was awarded "Designer of the Year" by Maison & Objet de Paris, the largest interior design fair in Europe. His works have been published by the most important magazines in the world
