A.D. 1517: a tribute to the past and tradition
In the heart of Gallipoli, the Boutique Hotel "I Bastioni San Domenico" relives a fragment of history with the A.D. 1517 project. This rooftop space tells the origins of the community founded by the friars of San Domenico, who arrived in the Apulian city in 1517. The architect Massimo Brambilla has transformed the terrace into a place that preserves and celebrates Italian cultural roots. This intervention, part of a broader vision of architectural projects, is much more than a redevelopment: it is a tribute that unites past and present, giving back to the city a space that engages with the history, art, and identity of the territory.
