IROJE KHM Architects was founded in 1989 in Korea with the aim of preserving the legitimacy and purity of architecture, while also seeking to reclaim the identity of Korean urban architectural culture in an era marked by blind Westernization. To this end, the firm explores and delves into the traditional nature of Korean architecture, both past and present, with the intention of constructing a unique and recognizable identity of Korea's urban architectural culture. Through this journey, IROJE KHM Architects seeks to give meaning to their work, contributing to the presence and recognition of Korean architectural culture on the international stage.
