PLATAFORMArq was founded in 2007 by Paulo Borges – graduated in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon – and By Pedro Leitão – graduated in architecture from the Lusíada University of Lisbon.
Headquartered in the city of Covilhã, began its journey with mostly small-scale projects, namely single-family homes, having progressed to projects of greater complexity, especially related to industry – an essential pillar of the economy and employment of the region – and collective housing, following the vector of growth of the environment.
At the moment, PLATAFORMArq has employees from various specialties, and its area of intervention has been expanding gradually and consistently, especially the openness to the tourism and services sectors, which currently represent the basis of various projects executed by the team.
